| Tour Features | Kenrokuen is one of the most renowned strolling-style landscape gardens.The 5th lord of Maeda Family started the construction in 1676.It was expanded to the present large-scale by the generations of Maeda Family.The garden is said to have six characteristics which the name of the garden comes from. They are spaciousness,the atmosphere of deep mountains and valleys, meticulous gardening technique, long history, abundant water and wide view. We also walk to Kanazawa Castle Compound to see Ishikawamon Gate ,newly restored Hishiyagura Watch-tower and Kahokumon Gate.
